Author Biography

Iván Caja Hernández-Ranera, Centro de Estudios Orteguianos – Fundación Ortega-Marañón

PhD student in philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid with a thesis on Ortega y Gasset, graduate in Philosophy and Master's degree in Teacher Training from the same university. He is a member of the editorial board of the Revista de Estudios Orteguianos (Journal of Orteguian Studies) and the Centro de Estudios Orteguianos (Center for Ortega Studies) of the José Ortega y Gasset-Gregorio Marañón Foundation. His main lines of research focus on the ethical and epistemological thought of José Ortega y Gasset, his correspondence, and contemporary philosophy. He has participated in various conferences on Ortega, such as the International Conference “Ortega's Correspondence and European and American Cultural Networks,” has collaborated on various editions of Ortega's works, and has published a review in the journal Éndoxa, the “Orteguian Bibliography, 2015” in the Revista de Estudios Orteguianos, and an introductory study to the reissue of Thomas Payne's Common Sense (2015).
