In addition to neologist, it must be emphasized that Ortega was a discoverer, a revealer of forms and meanings not at altogether new. During our first search, that of meditations on lexical-semantic creativity and the results of its application, we also discover very interesting considerations about dictionaries. The work has been therefore of tracing, of searching throughout the Ortegian body of work, in order to organize them and to relate them to other aspects of his thought and therefore observe the repercussion, not only in the discipline of Philosophy, but also in the history of Hispanic Linguistics, our main object of interest.
