Ortega's philosophy conveys a original vision in regards to technology –a vision which stands out for its optimism. These ideas match perfectly with the digital revolution and the development of new technologies, because they ultimately link with the deepest, most innovative aspect of Ortega's thinking: his idea of life as invention. The ideas of possibility and creation play a key role in Ortega's philosophy of technology, and they are essential ideas for understanding the development of digital technologies –which are changing our image of human environment.
