Abstract

In these pages we will address the repercussion in José Ortega y Gasset’s thinking and work of the change of scientific paradigm generated in Physics by Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. In turn, we highlight the key role as a mediator and science communicator Ortega played in Einstein’s visit to Madrid in 1923. To that effect, we analyze the main texts by the philosopher from Madrid, which revolve around the phy- sicist and his thinking, prioritizing El tema de nuestro tiempo, a work whose centenary we remember.
