Abstract

Clarity in Ortega y Gasset´s prose, defined by him as a way of courtesy, lays on a previous ontological and anthropological conception: truth is attractive and concerns every man. Ortega was a civic philosopher and an instructor who mastered the sociability in Philosophy. His will to “shine in society” must be understood as a search of a test of Reason based on his philosophical hypothesis.
