Author Biography

María Luisa Maillard García, Asociación Matritense de Mujeres Universitarias

President of the Madrid Association of University Women, she holds a PhD in Philology with a thesis on María Zambrano. She has contributed to several monographs on the philosopher, as well as various articles in specialized journals. She has contributed to volume III of the Complete Works of María Zambrano with the critical edition of La España de Galdós y Persona y democracia (2011) and to volume VI, dedicated to her autobiographical writings (2014). Among her numerous publications, the following stand out: Vida de Soledad Ortega (2013), Vida de Margarita Salas (2011) together with Jesusa Álvarez, Vida de María Zambrano (2009), Estampas zambranianas (2004), El cementerio francés (2004), and María Zambrano. Literature as Knowledge (1997) and Association of University Women 1920-1990 (1990).
