José Ortega y Gasset, Coriolano Alberini, positivism, ArgentinaAbstract
The letters exchanged between José Ortega y Gasset and Argentine philosopher Coriolano Alberini, between 1916 and 1948, testify not only intellectual respect both professed each other but also the agreement on a draft truly Hispanic cultural renewal. The doctrinal transition that led out of positivism is seen several times in letters now published and operates as the backdrop of the densest of exchanges period. The rest of the correspondence shows contacts and Ortega´s tribulations around their cultural and personal projects in Argentina.
