Author Biography

José Ramón Carriazo Ruiz, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia

Professor of Spanish Language at the National Distance Education University (UNED) and collaborator at the Ortega Studies Center. He was part of the research team responsible for editing the Complete Works of Ortega y Gasset (2004-2010). He holds a PhD in Hispanic Philology from the University of Salamanca and a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the UNED. Furthermore, he has written articles in various specialized journals and collective volumes on semantics, semiotics, hermeneutics, philology, linguistics, and the history of anthropology in Ortega's work. He has also contributed to anthologies, commemorative editions, and guides to Ortega's texts, as well as participating in numerous conferences, courses, and symposiums on the digital treatment of philosophical texts and the project to publish Ortega y Gasset's correspondence. In addition, he has conducted research on the history of the Spanish language and its vocabulary, ethnography and documentation, corpus linguistics, and digital humanities.
